About the Chairman
Chief (Hon.) Samuel Ogeh is a distinguished public servant, educationist, and legal practitioner whose commitment to public leadership has significantly shaped the landscape of Rivers State. A native of Rumuoro Ogbakiri in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State, he began his educational journey in his hometown, completing both his primary and secondary education before proceeding to obtain the National Certificate in Education (NCE) and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from the then College of Education, Rumuolumeni — now Ignatius Ajuru University of Education.
He further advanced academically with a Master's Degree from the University of Port Harcourt and later pursued a career in law, earning his Law Degree from Rivers State University and completing his training at the Nigerian Law School, Agbani Campus, Enugu State.
Chief Ogeh has served as Caretaker Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area and represented the good people of Emohua for two terms in the Rivers State House of Assembly. He currently serves as the Executive Chairman of the Rivers State Universal Basic Education Board (RSUBEB), where he continues to champion educational development, institutional reform, and equitable access to quality basic education for every child.
Renowned for his dedication, integrity, and visionary leadership, Chief Ogeh remains a respected figure in governance and public service. He is happily married and blessed with beautiful children.
